Each clinic will be lead by Chiefs Director of Player and Coach Development, Bruce Turpin and a team of Chiefs Coaches.

All registrants must follow the attached rules from the Edge Ice Arena. These rules were assembled with help from the City of Bensenville and the Dupage County Health Department and are also based on guidelines from the U.S. Ice Rink Association.

  • The Edge Ice Arena Rules include some, but not all of the following:

    • CDC approved face coverings are required for players and coaches at all times. These will not be provided by the club or the rink. If your player has asthma or other underlying condition(s), that may hinder their ability on-ice with a face covering, we ask that you not register. Although, USA Hockey and AHAI does not recommend wearing face coverings on the ice, the rules are left to rinks. So, compliance of wearing a CDC approved face coverings is required at all times for this session. A hockey helmet's full face shield is not considered an approved face covering.

    • Players must arrive and leave with full gear on, including skates. Appropriate skate guards are required to a long walk to and from cars.

    • Avoid bringing hockey bags into the rink as there will be no place to store them.

    • Parents are not allowed in the building.

    • There will be no shared water bottles - players may bring their own, with their name clearly noted on it.

    • Physical distancing must be observed at all times.

    • Those who do to follow the rules, at any time, will be asked to leave the building and will be unregistered from the program. The next waitlisted player will take their place.

The Chiefs Hockey Club plans on having sessions in late July / August.  Details will be contingent upon the current Phase of the State of Illinois at that time.
